But I'd thought I'd post the condensed version of the last year of my life for anyone who would like to read it (okay so it's a bit over a year
Moved in with Seamstress Maverick during the summer of 06. That lasted a little over a year and except for some arguments about the dishes, stuff being left in the living room, and a few other miscellaneous bits it was really fun. Our apartment was pack full of stuff since we were trying to combined two apartments into one. We both had been living alone in apartments before we moved in together.
I didn't get that internship that I was trying for but the lovely ladies in the President's office took me back for the summer and for the next school year as well. I graduated this past Spring with my MBA. I slept so much after it was all over. But at least my last semester wasn't as bad as some of the others I've had before. My CIS semenar class that I took was awesome. Some of the reading material was boring but the teacher made up for it.
So, after graduating I did some interviews and got a internship thing where Seamstress Maverick works, that was fun. I decided that wasn't enough though and applied for a position at Borders. I didn't get that one right away but they eventually did higher me and as I told Merian Moriarty that that job will have to be pried from my cold dead hands before I let it go. For a bibliophile like me it is the perfect job. I get an awesome discount cause I work there and mall employee discounts at the food places in the mall.
I also went to AKon with my friends. Seamstress Maverick's, Merian Moriarty's, and
Rina-chan's cosplay was teh awesome. I didn't cosplay but I had fun sitting my friend's Gary and Hollie's tables. Plus, I got to sit for Jennie Breeden's table. She does Devil's Panties. You should go read it. [link] All I hope is that she thought I was nice and helpful (fun as well if I'm greedy) instead of stalkerish.
So, that was my Summer. It wasn't till the Fall that my life hit a speed bump. First off Seamstress Maverick sprung on me that she was going to be buying a house.
But those aren't the biggest speed bump that my life hit. It was my mom being admitted to the hospital. Earlier in the summer she hurt her back cause she was doing most all of the home renovations by herself. Well, she was healing just fine but then her back pain starting getting worse and worse. So, my dad took her to her to the emergency room on a Sunday night and she was admitted straight into the hospital with cancer. She went downhill from there. And then on she passed away on Oct. 4, 2007....I have dealt with it and am still sad that she is gone but happy that she isn't in pain anymore. She was having to have a lot of morphine and some of it's sisters just to keep the pain away.
Okay...moving away from that subject now. I, not knowing what to do with my free time, picked up another job. So, that makes 4 total jobs that I have right now.
1-computer job (oh yeah the company that I had the interhsip with hired me for a different position when the project was over),
2-Borders (bookstore)
3-Steve and Berry's (clothing store) (I work with Merian Moriarty there)
4-Keyes Gallery (only once a month to help with the food for the monthly art walk).
Let me tell you this past weekend was well, very long with little sleep. I have never given much thought to the people who worked the Black Friday weekend beyond going "Those poor people having to work so early in the morning and having to deal with the crazy shoppers." My sentiment is still the same except with the addition of "OMG I will kill the next person who unfolds that shirt that I just folded for the fifteenth time today"
So, basically that is my life for the past year in a nutshell more happened but it would be to much to write and too boring for the people don't know me.
Oh, one more thing Hitman rocks. I went to see it with Merian Moriarty and Jarrodhk last night. Can't wait to see The Golden Compass, Enchanted, or Beowulf. I hope those are as good as they look as well.

alright there was no point in this except for me wishing to share some of my madness with everyone.
